Elon’s Phoenix14News to become Elon Local News
Phoenix14News, Elon’s nationally acclaimed student newscast, is going through a rebranding process. Starting Wednesday May 9th the broadcast will be renamed Elon Local News (ELN).
ELN will be providing the same high quality broadcasting services that Phoenix14News was known for. The staff is determined to keep their viewers updated on the latest news happening locally, nationally and even internationally.

Phoenix14News has served as a local news source for the last ten years. The experienced staff is bringing fresh ideas to ELN and plans to uphold the national reputation that Phoenix14News has developed. Ten generations of alumni have poured their hearts into the organization, and ELN strives to continue the work of its predecessors by keeping the same mission: to be Elon’s News Leader.
The show’s goal is to continue serving the Elon community, providing not only weekly broadcasts but also continuous online coverage. When a story breaks students, faculty, and members of the community should turn to ELN first. Elon Local News vows to have the most accurate information.
